SHAHIN KHALIL

Immediately after completing his secondary education, he entered military service. Upon returning from two years of service, he began his professional journey as a writer and published two fiction books. Although he achieved success in literature, he sought to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a film director. As a writer-director, he went on to create three experimental narrative films - two short films and one feature-length production. His works were screened at film festivals in various countries.

In 2011, he founded and became the Editor-in-Chief of Film Fiction Magazine, Azerbaijan's first and only electronic cinema magazine. Conceived entirely as a voluntary cultural initiative, the publication operated independently for more than a decade without financial support and was distributed free of charge.

In 2012, he served as Project Director of the encyclopedic publication 111 Films You Must Watch Before You Die.

Later, he pursued online education in graphic design, specializing in poster design and animation. Since 2021, he has been actively working in the field of Artificial Intelligence, focusing on AI modeling and creative applications of generative technologies. Alongside this, he has established himself as an AI artist, contributing to numerous commercial and documentary projects over the years.

Today, Shahin Khalilov works as an AI Artist and Graphic Designer, while continuing to develop and produce short films that explore the intersection of technology, visual storytelling, and artistic expression.
